The working groups are composed of scientists who advise national and international public agencies on the conservation status and threats of different species. Oikonos is a member of the Agreement on the Conservation of Albatrosses and Petrels (ACAP), and we are also part of the chair for the seabird working group GTAM, which advises SUBPESCA regarding species and fisheries that interact with each other in Chile.

– Position seabirds as indicators of ocean health, in order to prioritize their conservation at a national and international level.
