Ocean Ambassadors Partnership
"I loved dissecting the albatross bolus and was surprised because there was a lot of plastic, squid beaks, fishing line and rocks. I will tell people that litter on the street can affect seabirds because the stuff gets into the storm drains. I will now be more aware about what I do!"

Description
A goal of the Ocan Ambassador Partnership is to form collaborations with scientists, resource managers, and educators to develop innovative resourses that teach ocean stewardship. The Albatross, a charismatic and threatened seabird, is our main ambassador and the activities focus on the issues that threatend their populations and the amazing way they make a living.
Ocean Ambassador priorities are to:
- share knowledge about threats to ocean ecosystems through creative and innovative means
- inform personal choices that can improve the health
of the ocean and connected ecosystems
