PROFESSIONAL PREPARATION MS in Marine Science, Moss Landing Marine Laboratories, CSU San Jose, 2001 BA in Education, Keane University, Union, New Jersey, 1965 CURRENT PROJECTS Biogeographic Assessment off Central California to Support Revisions to NOAA's Sanctuary Management Plans: Assess distribution of marine birds and mammals off central California. This resource assessment will use existing data to identify important biological areas and time periods. Products will be used to develop revisions to the management plans. This project is subcontracted through H.T.Harvey and Associates Ecological Consultants. Assess distribution and abundance of seabirds and ocean habitat variables in the Gulf of California using GIS. This project is being developed in collaboration with Enriqueta Velarde, Centro de Ecologia y Pesquerias, Direccion General de Investsigaciones, Universidad Veracruzana. APPOINTMENTS Chair and Research Chair of the Sanctuary Advisory Council for the Cordell Bank National Marine Sanctuary: 2002 (3 year position).
