Guavaberry
Springs
The
entire wedding event will be taking place at Guavaberry
Spring Bay, which is a lovely resort located on the southwestern
tip of the island just a few minutes' walk from Spring Bay
beach and the Baths
and a short drive from Spanish Town. Your housing choices
at Guavaberry Springs are:
- One
bedroom house/bungalow, $130/night (good for two people)
- Two
bedroom house/bungalow, $185/night (this is the most affordable
option, especially if shared between 4 people)
- 6
to 8-person villas.
Here is a list of the ones that are closest (walking distance,
no car needed) to the Guavaberry Springs grounds: Beso del
Sol, the Beach House, Baldor, Sugar Mill Plantation, and
Casa Rocalta/Casa Luna. Villa rates vary depending on size
and location.
All
rooms have two joined twin beds to make a king-sized bed,
so the beds can be together or separate. An additional cot
can be added to the bedroom or livingroom for a small extra
charge. All houses and villas come fully equipped with a kitchen/living
area. When you reserve your room(s), make sure you mention
that you are with Grant and Viola's wedding party in
order to be eligible for a guest discount (10% for the bungalows
and 5% for the villas). If you need people to share a bungalow
or house with you can post a message on the "travel and
hotel" forum on our message
board (or ask Tina to help you coordinate with other people
when you make your reservations).
Make
sure to contact Guavaberry Springs as soon as you can to make
your reservations:

We'll
be staying at a villa called Island
Time, which is a 5-minute walk from the main office at
Guavaberry Springs. It's a spacious house with a lovely garden,
a pool, and a tennis court and everyone is welcome to come
and spend time there during the event. This will serve as
the central gathering place for all wedding guests, so when
you check in to Guavaberry Springs make sure you ask how to
get to Island Time and come see us!
Other
Accommodations
If
you would prefer to stay at a different location (in which
case you'll probably need a car), check the BVI
tourist board web site for more information on hotels,
resorts, and other rentals.
